12 years! That’s how long it’s been between the last issue of the magazine and the website going live! It has been a long and difficult 12 years, and I am very happy to have made it… again.
No matter how difficult they were, I was never discouraged from carrying out this project that I started. The ideals that led me to create this media are the same and today, as yesterday, 12 years ago, I feel that this media must be because it fills a void…
HUMANITERRE is a media platform dedicated to humanitarian and sustainable development issues, run by a network of correspondents and experts in sub-Saharan Africa (Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Niger, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau, Togo, Ghana, Benin, Senegal, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, etc.).
The aim is to inform, to raise awareness, to give visibility and clarity to initiatives and to allow people to be inspired by each other in matters of human well-being, biodiversity conservation, the fight against climate change, “sustainable” activities, economy and tourism, etc.
We are back thanks to an unshakeable faith in HUMANITERRE and also thanks to people and skills. “THANK YOU to those who put me in touch with the right people (webmasters, designers, graphic artists, directors) to carry out this project and THANK YOU to those who spent sleepless nights, online with me, debriefing and tirelessly correcting the logo and the slides (Sarah and Joseph), the website or the credits of the TV show, Thank you to those who called me from time to time to ask me when I was going to resume my project?
You can dream as much as you want, you can believe in something as much as you want to make it happen, you need to find the right people and you were the right people at the right time, even if it was in a very punctual way, that made HUMANITERRE grow, so Thank you.
